Learning to sew gives kids and teens a fun and useful talent that gives lifelong pleasure! Sewing is an important life skill that is both useful and gives an opportunity for creative expression. There is a lot of pride that comes with sewing a garment that is unique and special because they made it themselves!
In SewGood classes, all equipment is provided and the class size is limited to 5 students for individualized attention and safety. In the Kids Classes we use patterns that have been designed specifically for kids age 6 to 12. SewGood Kids Classes are for both boys and girls age 6 to 14.
In the Teen classes we use easy commercial patterns. Teen classes are appropriate for teens aged 15 to 17 and are limited to four students per class.
These classes are set up much like piano lessons and the students come once a week throughout the school year. The initial registration and first payment is done online and after that invoices are sent for each month. Classes can be joined at any time. Please note that while all the tools of the trade are provided, the student will be responsible for purchasing the pattern, fabric and notions for each project.
Kids and Teens sewing classes are also offered in week long Summer Sewing Camps. Sign up now! for 2016 camps.
